Keep NZ clean contribution

On Friday 9R went down to Kawakawa on Friday to contribute our help for Keep NZ tidy week. We first went down the track and through the park. We stopped at the bridge and picked up as much rubbish we could. Then we walked down Commercial Road and up the hill by the school. We stopped up the hill for about 5 minutes then continued our work. Down the road we went, past the Mr. Whippy truck and down to the main road.

  4. Kia ora Ezra, my name is Emma. I am a year 8 student at Paihia School in Te Ngahere. I really like your blog post about keeping NZ clean because it shows just how much you care about rubbish and how it is polluting Aotearoa. I also like how you have specifically wrote where you stopped to pick up rubbish. My class and I also did a beach clean up last Friday. We found lots of beer bottles and cans. What was the most common piece of rubbish you found?

  5. Ki ora Ezra it’s Dale from Paihia School. I really liked your blog post about picking up rubbish. I think that, that is really helpful. We did a beach clean up not so long ago. How many bags of rubbish did you have at the end of the day? In the first sentence you said friday twice. It’s a bit repetitive. Did you get an ice cream from Mr. Whippy?

By the looks of the photo it looks like you have picked up lots of rubbish. A few weeks ago Te Maunga and Te Ngahere went down to the beach at Kings Road and picked up lots of rubbish too. Sadly I didn't came to school that day. How many bags of rubbish did you pick up.
